Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo is located at
4214 W. Emerald Street in Boise, Idaho.
Situated in Boise's Central Rim Neighborhood, Studio Alma Folklorica is not only home to the Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, but is also Idaho's only dance studio dedicated to the teaching, learning and sharing of Mexican folk dancing.

Folklorico Classes are offered for dancers of various ages and stages. Additional classes offered include Spanish language tutoring, Adult Conversational Spanish, Quinceanera Waltz instruction, and Once a Month Mami & Me Classes for little ones ages 0-5 years old.

Get to Know Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo!
Since 2003, Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo has been a respected leader in the dance community in the Treasure Valley in Idaho and beyond. Monique's years of experience in the industry and community have allowed her dancers to become confident, well-rounded performers that are prepared to share the beautiful dances from the various states of Mexico. The dances are performed with authenticity in both costuming and choreography, with attention to detail all the way through, guaranteeing an authentic and beautiful performance.
Originally born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Monique was introduced to the art of ballet folklorico by her teachers Victoria Maria Rodriguez, and further studied folklorico under the direction of Barbara Delgado, the original founder and director of the Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, originally from Bellflower, California. Monique is proud to carry on the name and traditions of the original Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, now proudly located in Boise, Idaho. In March 2023, Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo will celebrate twenty years of being in Idaho.
