Yes, you absolutely CAN learn folklorico- at any age! This adult folklorico dance class is geared toward the18+ adult who is interested in learning traditional Mexican folk dancing for the first time, the dancer who might have learned as a child or teen, but hasn't danced in a while, the dancer who feels like they can't, or the dancer who's just curious enough to try something new. This class is for you! Introductory class with Folklorico terminology, basic footwork and skirt work, body composition, light choreography and the option to perform too! Tuition is paid monthly. Costuming including shoes and accessories are discussed when the dancer is comfortable.
