Service Description

Junior Folklorico Classes are for the dancer who has at least 4-5 years of Folklorico experience. The Junior class will build on the skill set of both the Beginner and the Intermediate classes. Juniors will have the opportunity to perform regularly. Dance instruction includes more advanced footwork and skirt work than Beginners and Intermediates, but with the goal of having the dancer eventually move up to the Understudy level. Dances can include props such as fans, bowls, rebozos (shawls), machetes, etc. Travel for performances is by invitation only. All costumes-including shoes and accessories- are purchased when the dancer demonstrates their ability to perform in public and their comfort of being on stage. Tuition is paid monthly.
